Happy First Day of Spring! And Happy Nowruz (Persian New Year) to those who celebrate!
This week we will continue studying dispersion modelling. On Friday we will start the unit on source control technology.
The homework that is due on Wednesday is "Modelling Ambient Air Pollution". It pertains to both box models and dispersion models. You should be able to complete the first nine homework problems based on the material we have already covered. We'll cover the material for the last two on Monday and Wednesday. Also due is Participation Question 9.
Project 2 is also posted and it is due March 30th. Project 2 focuses on indoor air quality and again you will be able to choose from numerous options.
Holly Demers will continue to be in class to assist with setting up Zoom and moderating questions.
The second EES meeting of the semester will take place on Monday March 21, 7-8:30pm in EB room 2250. Dr. Greg Tatara will be speaking about biohazards in wastewater and the future of environmental engineering. Free food provided and all majors are welcome!
