Weekly Message 3/27/2022

 Greetings!

I hope you all had a good weekend. I surely didn't anticipate waking up to snow on Saturday morning.

This week we will continue the unit of control of primary particulates. We'll finish the lesson on gravity settlers on Monday and start the lesson on centrifugal separators. I'm going to combine Friday's lesson on gravity settlers with the example problem we'll do on Monday into one video, which I'll post on MediaSpace. I'll also post the lesson on centrifugal separators.

Project 2 is also posted and it is due March 30th along with participation question 10. Project 2 focuses on indoor air quality and again you will be able to choose from numerous options. If you need the grace period (available through Sunday, April 4th, 11:59 pm), please let me know. Please copy your team mates on your email request so that I can easily update the due dates for all of you.
The last of the homework assignments are in the folder called Control Technologies. I've opened the first on gravity settlers and centrifugal separators. It is due April 6 at 11:59, along with the next participation question (PQ11).
Have a good evening,

Dr. Masten
